As more and more racing engine builders move toward employing reduced-stem valves as a means for increasing RPM potential, SI Valves has expanded its inventory of valve “blanks” to include a wide range of stem sizes ranging from 5.5mm to 9mm in both premium stainless steel and Inconel alloys.
To compliment the custom valve stem sizes SI offers matching valve guides. They are manufactured in-house from a proprietary manganese-bronze alloy that is fortified to enhance wear characteristics and has exceptional heat transfer capabilities. The guides are compatible with all contemporary valve stem finishes.
