Because new engines are assembled by the factory using torque-to-yield bolts, significant increases in power puts them at risk. What’s more, since the factory hardware is yielded by design the bolts should never be re-used.

In addition to critical internal engine fasteners, ARP makes it easy to upgrade the looks and reliability of many engines with handy Engine & Accessory Fastener Kits. Available with polished stainless steel or black finished 8740 chrome moly bolts in a choice of 12-point or hex heads, each kit contains a dozen groups of fasteners that cover applications from the oil pan up to the intake system. Stainless steel and 8740 fasteners are also available for individual applications.
