ARP Expands Offerings Of “By Size” Fasteners

ARP has long offered its premium grade polished stainless steel and black oxide finished 8740 chrome moly fasteners in handy 5-packs by size. But now, due to popular demand, 280 new part numbers have been added to cover increased incremental offerings. Popular 1/4” and 5/16” bolts are now available in .125” increments starting at .625” underhead length and up to 3.750” for 1/4-20 and 1/4-28 sizes, and up to 4.000” for 5/16-18 and 5/16-24 bolts. Shorter length of .515” (for 1/4”) and .560” (5/16”) are also offered.

Both the polished stainless steel and black oxide finished 8740 chrome moly bolts are nominally rated at 180,000 psi —a full 20% stronger than Grade 8 hardware. They are offered with a choice of hex or 12-point heads.

Also available are a wide range of metric bolts in M8, M10 and M12 sizes that range in length to 100mm. Many SAE and metric studs are also available by dimension. All fasteners are proudly manufactured in-house at ARP’s California facilities.
