Lubrication systems pioneer Aviaid has developed a series of mounts that will adapt its dry or wet sump oil pumps to modular accessory drives, like Alston’s CDS, or sprint car magneto drives.
With an increasing number of racers and street enthusiasts employing gear drives for centrifugal superchargers, it’s a logical progression to also take advantage of this power source for the lubrication system and eliminate the chance of belt breakage. The primary drive shaft of the pump (hex or keyed) connects directly to the geared accessory drive.
