Noted chassis and suspension components manufacturer Art Morrison Enterprises has completed the expansion of its Fife, Washington facility and now occupies some 50,000 square feet under roof. According to AME’s Operations Manager, Craig Morrison, “We were able to acquire a 3-building complex next to our existing facility. Shortly after we signed the lease, the State of Washington notified us that our machine shop was being claimed under eminent domain and they would have to move us to a new facility. Timing wise, everything worked out perfectly.”
The recently completed expansion has allowed AME to significantly ramp up production of is rapidly expanding line of “bolt on” GT Sport chassis for classic cars and pickup trucks. Morrison added, “The added space has allowed us to streamline our production and enhance out-put. There are now nine GT Sport models, with more on the way in 2018.”
In addition to the GT Sport chassis, of which there are now over 2,700 on the road, Art Morrison Enterprises manufactures a full line of custom CAD-engineered frames plus individual front and rear suspension subframes—including several variations of its highly acclaimed Multi-Link I.R.S. that has helped win major racing events.
