T-Rex TVR

The T-Rex has started life as a TVR 2500M. It came equipped with a 2498cc Triumph 6-cylinder engine. Back in the mid-70s, TVR North America began replacing the 2.5L engine with a 5.0L Ford V-8 and marketing them as a “5000M.” Here is a shot of what is purportedly an original 5000M. T-Rex is being created as a contemporary version of the 5000M, using a 5.0L DOHC “Coyote” engine instead of a Windsor-style small block Ford V-8.
