Replacing the factory “big sweep” speedometer and idiot lights on 1960-63 GMC pickups can easily be accomplished with a new bolt-in instrument panel kit from industry leader Classic Dash. Easily installed using common tools, the kit comes with a choice of 14 different style Auto Meter gauges, or the Thunder Road concourse series.
The standard package includes a 3-3/8″ diameter tachometer and speedometer plus 2-1/6″ oil pressure, water temperature, fuel quantity and voltage gauges. Turn signal, high beam and parking brake indicator lights (LED) are included in the package.
There are a number of compelling reasons why owners of classic 1960-63 GMC pickup should upgrade their rides. These include real time monitoring of important functions, contemporary style, and the ability to take advantage of GPS speedometers and other technologies.
The panels are manufactured in-house by Classic Dash from rugged UV-resistant ABS composite and available in matte black, brushed aluminum and carbon fiber finishes. Panels are also available separately (without gauges).
