Highly respected driveline components manufacturer Mark Williams Enterprises has developed rugged 40-spline drive plate full floater axles designed for use in off-road and circle track racing. They are compatible with popular "wide 5" (3/4-ton & 1-ton truck), Dana 60/70 (and most 80), and 14-bolt style full floating hubs and are engineered to work with factory axle hub bolts or studs.
As per standard practice at M-W, each axle is custom-made for the exact application. The center section spline is available for any popular spool/carrier setup, with the 40-spline drive plate. All splines are true involute and optimized for length to ensure the best possible engagement.
Maximum durability is assured through polishing and shot-peening shafts to prevent stress crack propagation, and performing a complete magnaflux inspection prior to shipping. Hub covers are anodized aluminum with low profile sealing O-rings. The complete package consists of shafts, flanges, caps and fasteners, O-rings and retaining rings.
Axle shafts are offered in 4340 chromoly or in 300M material for extreme duty applications. All manufacturing operations, including heat-treating, are performed in-house to assure optimum quality. For additional information call M-W’s tech reps at 800-525-1963 or visit MarkWilliams.com.
