With well over a thousand of its highly regarded GT Sport chassis for 1955-57 Chevrolets on the road, Art Morrison Enterprises has created a winner. Now, the Fife, WA-based firm has made a good thing even better by employing its Sport I.F.S. on the Tri-5 chassis.
The AME Sport I.F.S. is engineered to accommodate aggressive driving, with increased caster for high speed stability, minimized anti-dive to prevent nose-diving during hard braking, and camber gain optimized to utilize more of the tire’s footprint.
It also features larger diameter tubular control arms and is designed to allow use of larger front tires. Large polyurethane bushings are also employed, which reduces noise and vibration while minimizing flex.
And for those seeking the ultimate in handling ability, the GT Sport chassis can now be ordered with Morrison’s Multilink IRS option. The GT Sport chassis is a true bolt-on installation that can be accomplished by do-it-yourselfers. Many leading pro builders have also come to rely on Morrison GT Sport chassis, as they are proven to enhance a vehicle’s performance and value.
