Manley Performance, an industry-leading manufacturer of stainless steel and titanium valves for racing and high performance street use for 45 years, has added two dozen part numbers to its “Race Master” series covering Ford’s new “Coyote” and “Raptor” V-8 engines.
Builders of 5.0L DOHC (4-valve) “Coyote” engines can take advantage of intake valves with 37mm, 37.5mm and 38mm, with 31mm, 31.5mm or 32mm head diameters available on the exhaust side. Race Master Series valves are manufactured from XH-426 (exhaust) and NK-842 (intake) material, which is superior to the popular 21-4N stainless and very attractively priced.
For the larger 6.2L “Raptor” engines (SOHC 2-valve) Manley manufactures intake valves with 53.5mm and 54.5mm head diameters, as well as a hollow stem 54.5mm valve. For the exhaust there are 42mm and 43mm valves.
All Manley valves for “Coyote” and “Raptor” engines are offered with grooves for OEM-style triple locks, or with the race-proven Bead Loc® single radius groove (P/N 13087-16) valve locks. They also feature a dished head design.
Manley Performance also manufactures forged aluminum pistons in varying sizes for the “Coyote” and “Raptor” engines which are designed to accommodate larger valve sizes.
